The secret of Atom

Ernest was a wonderful blue-eyed little boy in the time of his childhood. He loved the flowers that were growing in the beautiful garden of his parents' house. He loved the high blue sky and the birds that sang beautiful songs for him. He liked to lie on the field and look at white funny clouds. Green grass and butterflies… Warm evenings and beautiful days… It was the world of happy childhood for him. His parents had much kindness to him. They never were angry or sad. They were like warm summer weather. But Ernest lost that world because he became an adult. It was only kept in the space of his memory. Sometimes he imagined that beautiful country if he was in sad mood. It helped him to live. Ernest became a scientist. He wanted to make something new. He dreamed about world glory. He wanted that people could be impressed with his great ideas. So people could love him. Ernest needed that feeling since the day of his childhood, "It will give the feeling of love of all people for me. It will be the glory and the love at the same time." Therefore his investigations were a very important part of his life. Nevertheless nature did not want to open any secrets to him, "I save dangerous things far from people mind. It can bring black days for them. My serious secrets are the most dangerous for people." Ernest reflected on atom, "Atom is a very strange state. It is interesting to know what is placed inside it. I hope to create new perfect world with help of atom energy. It will bring happiness and a security to all people." Birds sang beautiful songs. Grass was colored with usual green color. Butterflies played together above colorful flowers. "Atom! It is the way to the best future of the world. I must open its secret!" Ernest decided. He did not listen to the songs of birds. He did not look at flowers and grass. He forgot gladness of understanding of beauty. He closed his spiritual world to it. The strange world of his great black ideas grew in the world of nature. His important great thoughts jumped in his head, "I will have much glory! I will be world famous!" Ernest thought about it constantly. "It is beautiful Autumn for you, Ernest… It is white cold Winter for you, Ernest … I created young Spring and beautiful powerful Summer for you, my dear Ernest," Nature whispered, "Please, be like a child. Please, listen to my tender voice. I give the whole world for you. It is true love. You may feel it." Ernest did not hear it. He spent much time to break the secret of atom. He did it at one usual morning. That usual morning opened its eyes with much beauty. It was morning of the high blue sky and warm sun. Fresh wind had the usual walk above the carpet of colorful flowers. Big green trees were dressed with tender green leaves. The birds mixed their sunny songs with the tender song of the water of the strong river. Ernest received much glory. He became famous all over the world. It was a happy time for him. He was sure that it was so. Ernest thought that every person should love him because he broke the important secret of nature. Black empty earth… No Winter… No Summer… No Spring and Autumn… Weather did not exist on the black Earth any more. Atom was the King on the empty earth. No Ernest… No glory… No. Nothing. The secret of Atom was simple secret. Nothing is the most beautiful state of Nature. Ernest had revealed the secret. Atom was grateful to Ernest. Atom loved Ernest with its black dreadful love.
